DIY Projects: Halloween Card Template

I know is early in the Halloween season, but I want to make sure you have enough time to do some DIY project. I love doing DIY projects while my fiance is watching football. I am not into the sport at all, so I take the time to have a “me” time.

This is a super easy template that you can use as a greeting card, a party invite or simple something that you can frame and use for decoration around the house.

What do you need?

Step 1:

Print this template. This is a PDF document in letter size with marks for you to cut into an A6 size (4.5 x 6.5 inches). If you are using watercolors to paint the skull, I suggest you use the Bristol or Watercolor paper. If you are using markers or color pencils, you could use a cardstock or thicker kind of paper.

Step 2:

Color the template with watercolors, markers, or color pencils. Have fun!

Step 3:

Once you are done painting or coloring, let it dry. Then cut around the edges. Fold the card with the painting in the inside. This will allow scoring to be better.

Step 4:

Make your card a greeting card, an invite, or simple a piece of home decor. Write you want it to say on pencil first, then use whatever method you wish to finish the project.

For all my calligrafriends out there, here is a template and videos to remind you how to write each word and also in case you want to trace it.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I did!!
