I love the month of November! This is the month when you see Fall at its best.
When I used to live in San Francisco, I felt that its 50-60 degree weather all year round was a win-win situation, never too hot, never too cold. When I moved to Walnut Creek, 45 mins away from the city, I was reminded of seasons. Fall was my favorite with all the fall colors showing in every tree. Now, that I am here in Pennsylvania, the foliage is something else. I am not kidding, it is a thousand times more beautiful. There are so many pretty, vibrant colors on every tree that I can seriously stare at it for hours, and cry at the same time because my brain can understand how nature can be so pretty. Especially, when a few months ago, I hated nature for bringing so many bugs during humid Pennsylvania summer.
I also love November because it brings up the best in people. At least it tries. People try to donate however they can to their community. Or they travel long distances to try to get together with family and friends to show their appreciation to them. Even if they are unable to get together, they usually call or send a nice card. I love the holidays, and I have always felt that Thanksgiving is a great kick off of a great Holiday season.
For 5 years, we have hosted Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving in California. This year, we will not, and even though we are sad about it, we are looking forward to spending Thanksgiving the Pennsylvania Dutch way. However, I would love to share with you my Pinterest boards with LOTS of pins for a fantastic dinner, drinks, and decor. In addition, in my Etsy Shop you can find items to decorate your home, or to gift your host with something authentic and personalized. If you are the host, don’t forget to add an extra touch to your table by creating place cards for your guests. I will be happy to help you with that, if you need some help. Just give me a holler!
What are your Thanksgiving traditions? Do you have a recipe to share? I would love to learn about it and add it to my boards. I am always on the hunt for side dishes and cocktails. Please share it in the comment area down below.
Exciting things will be happening for Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Giving Tuesday. So stay tune for everything that is coming up and most importantly to take advantage of the season of giving. I am so eternally grateful and thankful for you and your compassion that I am planning to do something very special to show you my appreciation.
Thank you so much for being part of this newsletter. Enjoy the November 2018 desktop calendar and Thanksgiving free downloads.
